Dramatic Increase of Admission Requests at the University of Ottawa

The Result

After the first campaign in 2002, the Board of Directors requested David and Goliath to carry out all recruitment campaigns.

From 2002 to 2007, the number of students enroled in undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa went from 23,667 to 30,882, an increase of over 30%.

While the number of students enroled in undergraduate programs went up rapidly, registration for graduate programs stayed at around 4,000, so David and Goliath's mission was to raise the bar for the 2007 and 2008 admission seasons.

Compared to September 2006, registrations for 2007 were as follows after eight weeks of campaign:

  • An increase of 165% in admission requests from Montreal
  • An increase of 30% in admission requests from French-speaking students
  • An increase of 22% in overall admission requests
  • An increase of over 16% in enrolement in graduate programs as of the first year of the campaign
